Reishi has been shown to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and reduce the likelihood of metastasis. As a preventative, it stimulates the immune system to activate both B-lymphocytes and T-lymphocytes natural T-killer cells, improving immune surveillance. It can be effective against food allergies and is valuable in the treatment of Epstein-Barr virus and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
